Back from the wedding. Great times. I did some research on literary agents and I think I have a few picked out to send my first queries. When I begin work on the query letters this week, I'll be posting them here for feedback.
I've discovered that this format does not like word docs. So I'll be working with a new format so I can post some work here.

Update
Well, we've got a Nor'easter here. Boss just sent us home. I'm supposed to fly to Gainesville tomorrow for a wedding, so here's to hoping!
I'm getting alot of positive feedback from my beta readers.
I've also begun plotting the second novel in the trilogy using the Snowflake Method.
I'll update more about the novel and the trip when I get back on Monday!

The Plan
My plan for this blog is to share my work and ideas with people. I'm currently writing a trilogy of semi-fantasy novels. The first one has been completed. I plan on sharing some things about that as I wait for my beta readers to get back to me and then diving into the second novel in the trilogy that I'm currently working on.

Hey all,
So, this is my blog. Some people suggested I start doing this, as I'm now officially a writer. So come on in and chill!
Here's a teaser for my book:
Red Plains
Allyah is n unexplored frontier, where the savage and enigmatic Other-Folk are hunted mercilessly by the dark leader of mankind, The Regal. A scholar-slave, The Speaker, survives a massacre only to be taken in by a tribe of Other-Folk, where is taught the meaning of family, honor, and love. Betrayed he is ripped away from this tribe and magically conditioned into servitude. Together with a band of murderous riders, The Speaker kills tribe after tribe until only his former family remains, where his once true love still prays for his redemption. It is on a desolate, war-ravaged plain where his love will be tested and the very faith of a god will be challenged...
